Life Trajectory

Remember back when you set this amazing plan for your life? When I was 20 years old I had this solid plan for what my life was going to be like. I was going to have the penthouse condo, luxury car, perfect husband with the marble counter tops in our kitchen. Honestly my life went nothing like my plan. Not even remotely close to it.

Fast forward 18 years later, my life plan looks and feels nothing like what I though It would be. I now have an understanding about some of the twists and turns I’ve survive. I remember regretting many decisions until I realized how each one allowed me to gain this level of character and maturity that I have.

For the longest time I was on autopilot, daydreaming about the future and dwelling on past mistakes I convinced myself I had made. Those so called mistakes are the main ingredient to where I am today. Each incident no matter how big or small changed my life’s trajectory. In the end, I am grateful for each of those changes. If they did not take place I probably would not have embarked on my spiritual journey, found my purpose and passion, or indulged in self- love and self-awareness.

I was reminded over the weekend that one small experience could change the trajectory of your life in an instant. Ultimately that thing that happened has knowingly or unknowingly lead you on a different path. These changes can happen with our permission or by complete surprise. I know for a fact that GOD will change your trajectory for you. Often we will feel immediate effects either negative or positive, but being able to take losses and navigate bad times with a sense of knowing something greater is ahead can be tough. However, this mindset will allow for immediate understanding and healing to take place.

Think about what trajectory you’re currently on and how you can best control the outcome. To put things in perspective making a major choice for your life can affect your health, wealth, love, personal and family life. That choice will dictate whether you live a life full of happiness and purpose or unhappiness and the feeling of being incomplete. Its important to make conscious choices to lead a life heading toward desire and not just living.
