you need to heal

There are multiple phases of our lifetime where we will experience things that take us off course. Often these experiences are outside of us, but impact us internally. Ultimately, shifting the ways we continue to progress through future stages of life.

A few things I’ve personally experienced that changed me in some way were; professional failures, rejection, loss of relationships, betrayal, embarrassment, etc. Following these disruptions I honestly felt a bit lost. As we know life goes on and we have to mask the pain and get on with things.

BUT…..

When do we make time to heal? We are typically forced to push feelings aside while trying to maintain some level of normalcy. When do we take the time to acknowledge the need to heal from something or someone? How do we process what happens to us emotionally and mentally after these types of occurrences big or small?

We’ve been told that time heals, but that’s not always the case. If we do not take accountability and put intentional effort behind healing, it will literally be several years later still dealing with an issue at the same level. Nothing will just go away without us fully acknowledging the healing necessary. A lot of introspection is required to understand what we feel, why we feel it, and how it continues to impact our life.

We owe it to ourselves to transmute old energy into new positive energy. Healing helps us become more present and not stuck in the past. It allows us to see new ways in which we can rebuild our sense of self and a life that is emotionally fulfilling.
