REVIVE your Self-Care: A WEllness experience

Since the beginning of the year I wrote on my goal list “schedule a spa day”. My intention was to refresh my current self-care routine. I also needed to detox some old energy and release stress, as I have been purging lately. So I wasn’t necessarily looking for your typical spa to visit.

All of the common spas kept popping up in my search. You know the ones where you can purchase a day pass to enjoy the facility or bo0k an overpriced Thai massage. After a few weeks of searching the internet I put it on the back burner. That’s when I unexpectedly came across Revive Health Studio located in Huntington, NY.

The name of the spa immediately caught my attention, because I was looking to revive my mind, body, spirit, and soul. After a quick glance over their social media page I was on their website booking services. I booked The Chill-Pill combo session. This session includes all of their signature services - Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, and Tunebed.

The space is extremely inviting and the founder Jenna was a breath of fresh air. During my check-in we got to chat about how she started her business and life in general. My service began with the TuneBed session. Although my spa search was fueled by my desire to sit in the sauna to decompress I was overly curious about this service.

Tunebed is vibroacoustic therapy - a 15 minute sound healing session that balances all things within your mind and body. I felt energized and relaxed after the service. I was then escorted to my 15 minute red light therapy session. This service left me feeling like I just walked off the beach in the middle of July. Once complete I was entering my last session in the infrared sauna for 60-minutes of physical detoxification.

Revive Health Studio was everything I was looking for and all that I needed to realign myself. The space is intimate and full of curated wellness products to purchase. There’s also a plant based latte bar to purchase drinks during your visit. If you’re in need of a little self-care I highly recommend you experience this studio.

In the name of self-care we should aim to make wellness a priority in our way of living.
