New Beginnings

We are three days away from the new year! Typically this is the time of year we start feeling the energy of newness and starting over with a clean slate. I am always excited about the perceived ending and beginning of something new.

I love conversations around this time of the year because it’s centered around goals we wish to accomplish as we move forward. It also forces us to reflect on the past year celebrating achievements and recognizing areas that need improvement. Although 2020 was challenging in many ways, it provided us a new lens to view how we can be successful during this upcoming year. We are able to use all that we have learned and apply it to continued growth in the next phase of our life.

Some doubt has crept in my mind about 2021, but I have more confidence based on my experiences these last few months. I am choosing to keep a positive outlook and focus on things that are meaningful to me. I am spending these last few days planning what I want my next year to look and feel like. This includes expanding on some existing ideas, implementing new ones, creating new connection with others and working on my personal mission to self-mastery.

Below are questions I asked myself to spark thinking and get clear about my direction. I encourage you to answer these questions and open dialogue surrounding them with close friends and family.

Cheers to the New Year!
