7 Lessons Learned in 2021
So far 2021 has been extremely insightful and full of life lessons. Now that we’ve entered the second half of the year, I’ve been doing some heavy reflection. I want to be sure that I am always in alignment with my life purpose and mission.
As I prepare to celebrate the summer solstice and bring in warmer weather and sunshine, I want to acknowledging myself for the work I have been putting in since the year started. It’s the obstacles that bring forth the lessons I will use as tools in moving forward.
Since 7 is my favorite number here are 7 lessons I have learned since the beginning of the year.
RELEASE CONTROL: I am in control of the direction my life goes, but I cannot control every outcome. I can’t change the past or live in the future, so releasing control to live in the present moment is the focus. Focus on right now and what I can do each day takes so much pressure off my mind.
HEAL MY INNER CHILD: My inner child is so important to me and loving her has become a priority. I am finding ways to love myself unconditionally, in addition to nurturing and giving my inner child the attention she has been missing. Remembering to be kind to myself along the way.
BE OF SERVICE: Making space in my life to give to others. This isn’t strictly about money, but being able to share my time and gifts with others. The more I give the more fulfilled I feel.
SELF-ACCEPTANCE: Learning to accept my life as it currently is and where I am. Understanding that I am enough and my experiences do not define me. Learning I cannot change situations or the people in it, but I can find the positive side to everything.
FEEL GRATITUDE: The key to vibrating higher and feeling constant elation is appreciating the life we are blessed to live. Being grateful and saying thank you for all that we have no matter how big or small.
CONNECTION IS KEY: As much as I want to protect my energy from negative people, I understand the importance of human connection. Connecting to others helps me grow and evolve. I am inspired by others, I learn from others, and I feel a spark of joy being around others.
SELF-CARE IS THE FOUNDATION: Self-care is not giving to others before I give to myself first. It is a deep level of commitment in making sure I am good and only doing things that are best for me. Placing special attention on how I can care for myself inside and out.
I hope that you were able to recognize some of these lessons within your life.
