Beyond Our Dimension Part One

He opened his eyes to a mocha arm stretched across his chest. Lightly he grasps her hand, the warmth emitting now didn't compare to the heat wave of last nights sexual escapades. He inhales and exhales with a smile, admiring her even skin tone, and then suddenly his body recalled the pains of her passionate scaring. He laughs because it's been months since he slept soundly, and to show his gratitude, he decided to cook breakfast. He woke her and demanded she prepare for breakfast and so she did. He crafted something from his childhood, he always ate hot cornmeal porridge. To the left of each plate were blueberries, and raw purple honey. She saunters into the kitchen, her unruly hair, flattened on one side and puffed on the other. He was already seated, the sight of food naturally made her happy but this particular dish reminded her of her own childhood, a dish her grandmother called mush. They ate in silence, once in a while he would glance up at her, basking in her aura. Then a thought raced to the forefront of his mind. "Am I sprung?" He pondered, it’s true that he secretly adored her in high school but presently he dare not say he loves her, that form of submission was far too grave. He can easily admit that it was her essence, somehow it manifested at the sight of her and her familiar scent drowned him in the memories of their yesteryears.

During freshmen year, she was bullied due to her birthmark, which stretches from her right eyebrow to the left side of her lip and also because of her strong accent. Those ignorant girls had no idea what she was capable of - no one did. Her muscular features eluded everyone's observation. It was only after the incident that the school took notice of her physic. One individual knew of her strength, and that was the school's wrestling coach.

Her mother's family practiced horse culture, their prized thoroughbred horses fetches quite a price. It was there she learned horseback riding to herd the family's wild cattle. Her grandfather even taught her how to use the bow and arrow for whenever they went hunting for wild chickens and how to use a gun when defending against a rampaging wild cattle.

The high demanding chores developed her abnormal strength and a foresight that bewildered her opponents and spectators alike. At freshman year, she became a wrestler, at junior year, she became the city's best at the time in high school and during her college years, she represented our country. Those girls didn't stand a chance.

... ... ... ... ...

He listened attentively, first declining and then accepting her invitation to meet her mother. The mother frightens him, the stories she told how her mother butchered cattle and carried herself made him feel emasculated.

To be continued….
